Inflation in Spain decreases to 3.2% in November

Inflation last month decreased to three point two percent, the first year-over-year decrease since July.

Lower prices of motor fuels and holidays, along with a smaller increase than expected in food prices, contributed to this decrease.

The underlying inflation rate, excluding energy and fresh food, also decreased to four point five percent, its lowest level since April last year.

The Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Enterprise has attributed this decrease to government policies, which benefit wages and the competitiveness of Spanish companies.
