Funeral of John George Postponed Indefinitely

The funeral of a Belfast man whose body was discovered on the Costa Blanca has been postponed indefinitely, the family of the man have said.

John George was reported as missing last month, with his body being discovered at the start of the year.

His remains were due to be interred on the 24th of January, however his funeral service has been halted due to reasons the family say are “beyond their control”.

A man who was detained by investigators shortly after the discovery of Mr. Georges remains, has been released on bail whilst investigations continue.
