Defence Minister Affirms Commitment to Ukraine Training

Defence Minister Margarita Robles visited Ukrainian military personnel undergoing training at the Toledo Infantry Academy yesterday as part of an organised visit to the camp.

During her visit she expressed Spain’s unwavering commitment to supporting Ukraine, stating the country will continue its training programmes.

Spain’s current training programme is the fifth rotation at the academy, aiming to enhance the capabilities of Ukrainian forces in defending their internationally recognised borders.

The latest sessions have been adapted to meet Ukrainian needs as the conflict enters its fourth year.
