Family launch appeal for Irish teenager fighting for life after balcony fall

An Irish teenager is fighting for her life after falling from a balcony in Benalmadena on the Costa del Sol.

Niamh McGeoghegan suffered a fractured skull, swelling on her brain and other multiple injuries after the incident in on St Patrick’s Day.

The 18-year-old woman from Co. Down fell from a third floor balcony while attending a party and she is currently undergoing medical treatment in intensive care.

Family members have launched an appeal [icon name=”external-link” class=”” unprefixed_class=””] for her ongoing treatment, after she slipped back into a coma this week. Doctors initially said she would have been unlikely to survive the fall.
