Deadly Fire in Vila-seca Apartment Complex

A fire in the Barcelona suburb of Vila-seca has resulted in the death of a ninety two year old woman and left three others suffering from smoke inhalation.

The blaze began in the early hours of yesterday morning in a four storey building, prompting emergency services to evacuate residents.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation by Mossos d’Esquadra, who dispatched five patrols to assist with the emergency operation.
