Firefighters continue to put out calima forest fires

Firefighters are continuing to tackle the last remaining fires that were caused by the weekends calima.

The main focus at present remains in Gran Canaria, where a number of small blazes remain however these are under control.

Aircraft are continuing to drop water on affected areas in an effort to extinguish the remaining fires.
