Founder of Slimming World Margaret Miles-Bramwell Dies Aged Seventy-Six

Tributes have been paid to Margaret Miles-Bramwell, the founder of Slimming World, who has died at the age of seventy-six in Majorca.

In a statement from the company, they said she touched the hearts, and lives of millions.

Mrs. Miles-Bramwell started Slimming World in 1969 and received an OBE for her services to public health in 2009.

In addition to her achievements with Slimming World, she owned a theatre in Majorca and the British yacht manufacturing company, Pearl Yachts.
