Aemet issues weather warning as temperatures set to plummet

Weather agency Aemet has issued a series of red, amber and yellow weather warnings for the Iberian peninsula until Friday.

A cold weather front is due to bring strong winds, rough seas and – in the north – significant snowfall.

Winds gusting in excess of 80 – 90 km/h are also expected, which will bring rough seas with waves up to six metres high in places.
