Protesters clash with police after Puigdemont arrest
Protesters clashed with police officers after thousands of people took to the streets yesterday in protest at the arrest of the former Catalan leader.
There are reports that dozens of people have been injured in the clashes. A police cordon was installed around the Government delegation office in the city, as protesters surrounded the building.
Protesters also gathered in front of the German embassy to voice their dissent after German authorities arrested the former leader.
