Barcelona El Prat strike action suspended after airline and union developments

Ground handling crews at Barcelona El Prat airport have suspended their planned industrial action this week and next, after developments in negotiations over work conditions.

Nearly 2000 staff were originally to picket in protest at their work conditions, however after three days of talks, it’s understodd progress has been made.

Iberia has said that they will now look at how to improve the conditions, as well as look to hire more staff.
