Policia Nacional have arrested three people in connection with the distribution and sale of counterfeit toys, that were in some cases reported to be dangerous.

172,000 fake toys, worth millions of euros, were seized in raids carried out in a Madrid suburb. The toys were understood to have been imported illegally from China.
The investigation was launched after complaints were made by toy manufacturers, amid fears that the playthings would pose a risk to children’s health.
