Polica Nacional have detained 13 people in connection with a prostitution ring in Málaga.
The arrests were made as part of a joint Europol and UK National Crime Agency operation and Nigeria’s NAPTIP agency.
Those arrested are accused of trafficking their victims to Spain and forcing them into prostitution after threatening them with black magic.
Raids and arrests were carried out in Barcelona, Madrid and Málaga as part of the investigation. Three victims were released from captivity during the raids.
