The future of Andalucian regional president Susana Díaz remains in the balance whilst negotiations continue after Sunday’s regional election.
The regional executive of her party – PSOE – have said they still have confidence in the leader after she gained the highest share of the vote. The news came as discussions are understood to be ongoing between PSOE and Ciudadanos.
Questions are now being asked if PSOE should call a General Election in the coming year, as many expected to happen
Meanwhile protests have been held over the election of the Voz political party. Thousands of people have taken to the streets in Seville, Granada, Huelva, Cordoba, Jerez and Malaga in protest at the election of 12 Voz members to the regional parliament.
