The DGT has announced it is to suggest new vehicles are to be fitted with intelligent speed assistants, in an effort to improve road safety.
The general director of the DGT, Pere Navarro, voiced his support for the system, that prevents tail gating and driving with excessive speed.
He went on to say that early research suggests over 400 lives a year would be saved if the system was installed in all vehicles.
