An investigation is to be launched by the prosecutors office into the reasons why thousands of people were stranded in a snow storm on the AP-6 motorway last weekend.
The investigation will determine whether the operators of the toll road were responsible for a deriliction of duty, when 80-km of highway was blocked by a snowstorm near to Segovia.
The investigation comes as consumer association Asufín is reported to be launching a legal bid for payments after drivers cars were damaged in the snow.
