Firefighters have brought a wildfire that threatened Donana National Park under control, it was announced by the Minister of Justice and Interior, Rosa Aguilar, yesterday morning.
The fire, which at one stage saw 2000 people evacuated from their homes, was brought under control after a sustained firefighting excercise.
The emergency level was revised to under control shortly before 10am yesterday. An investigation has now been launched to determine the cause of the blaze.
