A number of private hire vehicles in Seville have been destroyed in a series of suspected arson attacks, after the launch of an Uber style service in the city.
Operator Cabify has told authorities in Seville that its workers feel “threatened” after nine of its vehicles were set on fire in the southern city in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
Guardia Civil are investigating the fires. It comes as Policia Nacional have announced an investigation into 27 taxi drivers for alleged threats against fellow drivers.
