A group aiming to highlight the impact of Brexit on British citizens living in Spain, has joined one of the first seminars on the subject since the triggering of Article 50, and the announcement of the snap General Election in the UK.
Brexpats in Spain, one of a number of groups set up after the UK’s vote to leave the EU last summer, took part in the questions and answers session which was hosted by Manilva’s Foreign Residents Department.
During the seminar, which featured contributions from the UK embassy, Chambers of Commerce, Citizens Advice Spain and financial institutions, questions on the impact of Brexit, and concerns residents had, were answered. It’s hoped that more seminars will be held over the coming 2 years in various locations nationwide, which will provide residents answers to their concerns.
