Policia Nacional have arrested 34 Bulgarians for a large scale prostitution ring in Marbella.
Thirteen women, who were illegally detained, and forces to steal from customers were rescued in the raids, the culminaton of a three year joint operation between Spanish and Bulgarian authorities.
Six buildings, 18 vehicles and a number of bank accounts have been siezed in the raids carried out in Malaga, Torremolinos, Marbella and Estepona. A further 15 different locations were raided in Bulgaria. Over €50,000 was discovered in cash, as well as personal items, high end watches and drugs.
Those detained have been remanded in custody, with Policia warning there may be more arrests to come.
