The long running saga regarding an Ikea in Alicante looks set to continue, after the furniture giant re-affirmed its commitment to open a store and shopping centre in the area.
In a series of messages from the company, the chain announced it had held meetings with local authorities, and is still looking for sites in the province to construct their new store.
It has been trying to open a second store in the Valencia region since 2002.
