The Ayuntamiento of Alicante has topped the national tables for transparency according to the latest results from the ITA.
In the latest study, the council achieved a 100% success rate, putting it alongside another 25 Ayuntamiento across Spain who achieved the highest mark possible.
The survey was carried out between April and May, and shows a significant increase in transparency of the workings of the council. In 2014 it only achieved a score of 73.8%.
