Plans to improve the land around the Camp Nou stadium have been given the go ahead, with plans to turn the area around the stadium into a large public space unveiled.
32,000 square meters of open urban greenland, as well as improved parking and cycling facilities will all be installed around the area. There will also be improvements made to the local roads, to reduce congestion on match days.
It’s understood the works will come at no cost to the city, as it will be carried out as a private venture by FC Barcelona.
