Weather alerts continue to be in place across much of the country.
- A yellow weather warning is in place for most of the Canarian coast for rough seas. People are being advised not to bathe in the seas around the islands, as currents and waves could pose a risk to life.
- Meanwhile low temperature warnings are in place further inland from the Costa Blanca, however there is a risk of lower than usual temperatures as the cold weather spell continues.
- And parts of Barcelona are on a yellow weather alert, with temperatures expected to drop down to -6ºC in places overnight.
People are being advised to remain cautious, and to check on the elderly and vulnerable should they need additional help.
