The Canarian Centre for Emergencies and Security – CECOES – has launched their summer safety campaign, with an aim to reduce, or prevent, possible risks over the summer season.
The campaign, which will use social media, aims to advise people how to deal with hot weather and calimas, as well as how to enjoy the region safely when out walking or on the beach.
Aimed at both visitors and locals, the campaign, called #Risk0, also has an app for smart phones that will provide people with advise and alerts should they be needed.
