Lanzarote has been chosen by the European Commission to host the Clean Energy Initiative for the Islands of the European Union next November.
Delegates from across the union will arrive in Lanzarote, where delegates will be able to discuss and observe environmentally sustainable energy production schemes.
It’s understood over 100 leaders in environmental energy will be present. The event is being seen as a strong enforcement of the Canarian Government’s drive to increase the archipelago’s green credentials.
