Policia Nacional have seized a number of fake medical devices from beauty centres locally.
In total 12 fake machines were recovered in raids across the country. The machines were discovered after a woman suffered serious burns to her face during a skin treatment.
A company in Pontevedra is understood to have imported the fake machines, pretending they were hi-tech systems worth over €15,000 a piece. One person has been arrested in connection with the sale of the fake machines.
