Canarian President Fernando Clavijo is to travel to Brussels today to meet with EU Brexit negotiator Michel Barnier for discussions on Brexit and how it will impact the Canaries.
The meeting is part of a scheduled discussion on how the UK’s departure from the EU will impact the countries nine outermost regions.
Fernando Clavijo will represent all of the outmost regions as president of the Conference of Presidents of the Outermost Regions.
