An 8-year-old boy who was smuggled into Spain in a suitcase is to have his DNA tested to prove that the people who smuggled him into the country are his parents.
The attempt made world-wide news, when the boy was discovered when the suitcase he was concealed in was x-rayed by airport security at the Spanish enclave of Ceuta in North Africa.
The tests will determine whether those who claim to be his parents are telling the truth, and will aid authorities decisions on whether to give the boy asylum.
