Two siblings have died after falling into a river in Solares, Cantabria, according to the regions emergency services.
The brother and sister, aged 40 and 52, were understood to have been taking photographs of the Rio Miera when they fell into the water at around 5.15 pm local time.
Emergency services were alerted, however despite the actions of emergency services, both victims – who have yet to be publically named – were declared dead at the scene.
