Passengers on flights to and from Spain are being advised that there may be cancellations and delays after French Air Traffic Controllers joined a national strike being held today and into tomorrow.
Ryanair has cancelled over 220 flights, affecting about 40,000 passengers. easyJet and British Airways have also announced cancellations or delays. Passengers who are due to travel today are being advised to contact their airline to confirm if there is any issues with their flight.
The main air-traffic controllers’ unions are stopping work as part of a national strike against the labour reform policies of President Emmanuel Macron.
